A nice long ride in the sunshine. Started at Ynyslas and cycled along the road to Tre-Ddol, then up the beast of a hill behind Tre-Ddol which I managed all the way without getting out of the saddle, but it is still a killer. from here I cycled across to the forest road and then the LONG LONG climb aup the southern side of Artists Valley, around the back of Moel y Llyn to the oath above Angler's Retreat. A solid 50 mins / 5.7 miles of climbing!

From here I headed around the back of Angler's Retreat and up the gulley, then back towards home via Llyn Penrhaeadr, Angler's Retreat and Llyn Conach, then down a nice descent through Artists Valley and back out onto the road. I then took a route through a tricky bit of single track and back to the road where I was set upon by a pack of 5 dogs at one farm and then another 3 or 4 a little further down the road. From here it was a quick spin through the forest and single track back to Tre-Ddol and then long slog back along the road to Ynyslas.

All in all a good afternoon out, although I did snap yet another spoke. All this was followed by a quick swim in the sea.
